"We need YOU, to help kick-start our cool t-shirt and bag sales"

Inspired by the immense strength the people of Japan have shown during the past months, our beach volleyball tournament “Beach for Japan” being held on the 17th of September 2011, in Berlin Germany, would like to help aid those in need by showcasing our support by integrating sports, good eats and cultural entertainment to the cause.  In partnership with BeachMitte and officially supported by the Japanese Embassy, the tourny will look as follows and raised funds donated directly to the Japanese Red Cross:

- Tournament held on Germany's biggest beach volleyball outdoor court with 54 fields. (www.beachberlin.de)

- Approximately 70-100 teams expected 

- Sales of “Beach for Japan” t-shirts and bags (<-- we need your help here!!!)

- “Mila Superstar” voice-over artist as official announcer of tournament and profession beach vball showcase of players

- Japanese food to be organized, raffles, prizes etc.

- Extensive advertising and marketing will take place 3-4 weeks prior to event via Facebook, Newsletter, Local Television and Radio (http://www.facebook.com/BeachMitte)

Durch  den  beispiellosen  Zusammenhalt  des  japanischen  Volkes  inspiriert,  planen wir  ein  Beachvolleyball‐Turnier  mit  dem  Namen  “Beach  for  Japan”,  das  am  17.09.2011  in  Berlin stattfindet.  Mit  der  Partnerschaft  von  BeachMitte  Berlin  und  der  Unterstützung  der japanischen  Botschaft  in  Berlin  wird  das  Fundraising‐Konzept  wie  folgt aussehen:   

- Das Beachvolleyball‐Turnier findet auf Deutschlands größter innerstädtischer Beachvolleyball‐Anlage „BeachMitte“ mit 54 Beachvolleyballfeldern statt.  (www.beachmitte.de)  

‐ Wir erwarten je nach nach Wetterlage bis zu 100 begeisterte Teams.   Ein Teil aus dem Erlös der Startgelder wird gespendet.   

‐ Verkauf von T‐Shirts und Taschen mit individuellem “Beach for Japan”­ Design!!! 
  
‐  Die Teilnahme von professionellen Beachvolleyball‐Teams wird die Attraktivität, insbesondere für die Zuschauer zusätzlich steigern.      

- Ab vier Wochen vor dem Turnier werden wir für die Veranstaltung intensiv Werbung  auf verschiedenen Kanälen machen (z.B. BeachMitte Newsletter, BeachMitte facebook‐ Gruppe  mit mehr als 1600 Mitgliedern (http://www.facebook.com/BeachMitte).  Zusätzlich werden über professionelle Pressearbeit lokale und überregionale Medien  (Print, TV, Radio) eingebunden.
