10 Sessions
Five years ago independent filmmaker Martin Winter startet to film bike-events like the Roc d´ Azur in south france, supercross in Copenhagen, the Wheels Of Speed in Willingen/ Germany and many more on super8.
Hence grew the idea to make a whole freeride-film with 50-60 minutes on 8mm film.
Super8, with its warm colours and unique look, isn´t enough for us ... we want to bring the film to the cinema so we’re using a special technique to film in cinemascope.
The downstairs-cinema in Berlin has already promised to premiere our film and include it in their movie schedule.
Unfortunately super8 is getting rare, and its costs are rising.
To realize this unique projekt, our calculation for filmmaterial, processing, filmscanning and travel costs to get to the spots is 45 000.-€.

Seit über 10 Jahren arbeitet Martin Winter für Filmproduktionen.
Als gelernter Tischler kam er über den Kulissenbau zu Spielfilmen und Werbeproduktionen.
2006 zog der Süddeutsche nach Berlin um eine Filmschule für Filmemacher zu absolvieren.
Seit 2007 arbeitet er als Stuntman und für Unterwasserdrehs wie z.B. Die Päpstin, Die Grenze, Lady Like und viele Werbespots.
Von 1999 bis 2002 fuhr er selbst aktiv Downhill - und BikerXrennen.
Heute ist er immer noch dem Bike und auf den Trails unterwegs, allerdings mit seinen 8mm Schmalfilkameras.
Jetzt steht er mit seinem ersten Filmprojekt in den Startlöchern: SuperRide!
Mit "SuperRide" soll mit einem alt bekannten Format, Super8,
der Mountainbike/BMX-Sport neu in Szene gesetzt werden.
